Bree has long-term experience working with children, adolescents and adults who may present with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, suicidal ideation, self-harming, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is qualified to conduct Psychometric assessments for Specific Learning Disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities and Personality Disorders. Bree is skilled in several treatment-types such as  Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Alana is a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about supporting adults and adolescents with their mental health issues through evidence-based interventions. She has completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology and Bachelors of Psychology (Honours) through the University of Newcastle and is registered as a health practitioner with AHPRA providing services through Medicare for clients with a Mental Health Care Plan.Alana uses an eclectic approach to her therapy sessions, focusing on developing skills and strategies from an evidence-based framework to better support her clients. Alana uses evidence-based therapies such as: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).Alana is passionate and experienced in assessing, and in the diagnosis, of neurodevelopmental disorders of both children and adults. She works with a wide variety of clients who may present with anxiety disorders, depression, grief, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders. Alana works from Monday to Thursday at Mind & Me Psychology.

Silas been working as a Provisional Psychologist since March 2022, gaining experience in the research environment at Macquarie University. From this time he has worked with children, adolescents and adults in private practice, providing assessments and treatment. Silas has also been involved in the assessment of neurodivergence disorders such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder; Autism Spectrum Disorder; specific learning disorders like Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia; and a variety of anxiety disorders. He uses evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Family Systems Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Kathryn believes that healing begins within a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship and places strong emphasis on a warm, collaborative, and person-centred approach. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across diverse clinical settings, providing support for a broad spectrum of mental health, developmental, and behavioural presentations. She draws on a broad suite of evidence-based therapeutic modalities including:

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Kathryn has a special interest in supporting individuals affected by trauma and is a fully trained EMDR therapist (EMDRAA). She is also an experienced Lifeline Crisis Supporter, with extensive expertise in providing crisis care to people experiencing suicidal thoughts or acute emotional distress. Outside of her professional life, Kathryn is the proud mother of two daughters and enjoys portrait painting, walking her dog on the beach, kayaking, and learning the ukulele.

Sharn is a Provisional Psychologist who completed her Masters in Professional Psychology at the University of Newcastle in 2024. Sharn has 17 years’ experience in the disability sector, with specialised knowledge in Behaviour Support across the lifespan; where she works closely with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance-Related Disorders, and Dementia. Sharn has also gained experience in working in the field of trauma and has a particular interest in the way a person’s formative years impact their experiences in the later stages of life. Sharn proudly owns two large breed dogs and has interests in pop culture, reading, animals, golf and learning Auslan.



Georgia Carroll - Provisional Psychologist

Georgia started working as a Provisional Psychologist in March 2025 and is currently gaining experience in the practical component of her Master of Professional Psychology at the Cairn Millar Institute. She has experience working with children, adolescents and adults and is trained to assess and provide treatment for depression and anxiety disorders. Georgia has experience in assessing Specific Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. She is trained to use evidence-based interventions such as Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.


Isabella King - Therapy Assistant & Receptionist

Bachelor of Criminology & Bachelor Psychological Science - both with Honours

FOCUS

Isabella has graduated with Honours, as of Friday 12th Dec 2025, with a double degree in Criminology / Psychological Science from the University of Newcastle. Congratulations Issie.

She is also currently employed in the roles of Therapy Assistant and Receptionist at Mind and Me Psychology. These will be of benefit to her, and us, in her journey toward becoming a Clinical Psychologist.

Isabella is passionate about helping others; her interest in mental health and its importance, will be explored through assisting clients with any duties that are needed. You will see Isabella at the clinic on various days.




Leigh Irvine - Receptionist


FOCUS

Leigh joined Mind & Me Psychology in July 2023, but has worked for the past 15 years as a Practice Manager at various psychology practices across the Central Coast.Leigh brings a wealth of knowledge in relation to allied health referrals and procedures, and will be at the Practice on Tuesdays to assist clients.



Marley Irvine - Receptionist


FOCUS

Marley, one of the 5 admin staff,  joined 'The Admin Team' at Mind & Me Psychology in February 2025. Her focus is on looking after our clients with enthusiasm and kindness and she is here 2 days a week.She is a qualified Beauty Therapist and loves catching up with friends and family at the local Touch Footy club. Marley is behind the desk on a Wednesday and a Thursday.
